Location: Peoria, Illinois

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts.
Utilize nursing processes, current trends, technology, and resources to deliver quality care.
Perform all unit-specific responsibilities within the scope of service.
Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs.
Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care for effective communication within the healthcare team.
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards and incidents.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues and support professional development.
Identify personal learning needs and pursue appropriate solutions.
Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree.
Illinois state RN License in good standing.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree.
