    Radiation Therapist Job Opportunity

    Location: Denver, Colorado
    Specialty: Radiation Therapist


    Job Summary

    • Administer ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes as prescribed by Radiation Oncologist.
    • Perform patient simulation and preparation for radiation therapy.
    • Provide basic patient care and education regarding treatment and reactions.
    • Verify treatment parameters, document doses, treatment details, and billing information.
    • Perform treatment simulation including cerrobend block fabrication.
    • Develop and file x-rays and port films as needed.
    • Monitor patients for unusual reactions during treatment.
    • Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in the unit.
    • Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to standards.
    • Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and safety hazards.
    • Document patient care plans, test results, and escalate non-routine issues appropriately.
    • Promote organizational mission, vision, and values.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Contract Length

    • 15 weeks
