Job Summary

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic nursing care across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults. Responsibilities include assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN develops and revises care plans, coordinates interdisciplinary care, delegates tasks appropriately, and participates in shared accountability and decision-making. Duties may vary based on the assigned unit, with specific clinical skills required for each.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
• 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with newborn population care
• Level III NICU experience
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience
• Current skills checklist relevant to specialty (updated within 1 year)
• Work history documentation
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment

State License

• Minnesota RN license required

Additional Information

• Must note if not eligible to work in the USA
• All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with application; no exceptions after submission
• MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing roles
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs
• Nonbillable hours: 4 hours per assignment
• Local traveler policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of facility
