Job Opportunity: RN - NICU (Travel)

Location: Kennewick, Washington

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Information

Department: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Patient Population: Neonatal, with cross-coverage in OB units due to staffing shortages
Facility Size: 111 beds

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent acute nursing experience
Specialty experience: NICU, minimum 2 years required (highest years of experience specified)
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

Current State Registered Nurse License
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Skills & Abilities

Must be trained and able to work in both NICU and OB units (cross-training required)
Ability to float within a 25-mile radius as needed

Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel assignment
The unit is short-staffed and relies on travelers trained in both NICU and OB areas
