Job Opportunity: PMR – Physical Therapy

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Potential weekend coverage needed
• No holiday coverage required

Experience Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Physical Therapy (use 5 years as the requirement)
• No prior travel experience explicitly required

Credentials & Certifications

• PA Physical Therapy license required
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Patient Population & Work Environment

• Mixed patient populations, approximately 90% adult
• Rotating floors including orthopedics, trauma, and cardiac patients
• Level 1 trauma center with nearly 600 beds
• Productivity expectation: 8 patients per 8-hour shift
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Team consists of 35 members, including PTs and PTAs; you will remain on the same team for the entire contract

Dress Code

• Tan and black scrubs
• Comfortable shoes recommended

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Requirements

• Background check and various screenings including drug screen, immunizations (COVID-19, Influenza, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TdaP), and license verifications
• Competency exams and mandatory annual training
• Compliance with multiple regulatory and safety checks (e.g., FACIS 3M, FBI clearance, PA Child Abuse History Certification)

Note: Previous employees of this health system are not eligible for contractor rehire unless separated for 2+ years.
