Description
Job Opportunity: PMR – Physical Therapy
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Potential weekend coverage needed
- No holiday coverage required
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Physical Therapy (use 5 years as the requirement)
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
Credentials & Certifications
- PA Physical Therapy license required
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Patient Population & Work Environment
- Mixed patient populations, approximately 90% adult
- Rotating floors including orthopedics, trauma, and cardiac patients
- Level 1 trauma center with nearly 600 beds
- Productivity expectation: 8 patients per 8-hour shift
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
- Team consists of 35 members, including PTs and PTAs; you will remain on the same team for the entire contract
Dress Code
- Tan and black scrubs
- Comfortable shoes recommended
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Additional Requirements
- Background check and various screenings including drug screen, immunizations (COVID-19, Influenza, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TdaP), and license verifications
- Competency exams and mandatory annual training
- Compliance with multiple regulatory and safety checks (e.g., FACIS 3M, FBI clearance, PA Child Abuse History Certification)
Note: Previous employees of this health system are not eligible for contractor rehire unless separated for 2+ years.
