Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Oncology) - Temp (Days)

Location: Petoskey, Michigan

Position Overview

• Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments, perform quality control and assurance tests.
• Ensure proper infection control and adhere to radiation safety and protection practices.
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff.
• Follow a strict 3-strike attendance policy regarding lateness and absences.

Requirements

• Specialty: Radiation Therapist
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of radiation therapist experience required.
• Certifications: ARRT (T) certification required.
• Travel Experience: 1 year of prior travel experience required OR work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA systems.
• Preferred Experience: TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy systems.
• EMR System: ARIA.
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
• Employment Type: Temporary.

• Strict attendance policy effective 6/1/2024: 3 strikes for absences or lateness over 20 minutes may result in immediate termination, with exceptions for documented illness or hospitalization.
