Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Shift: Primary days with evening, nights, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
- Call Requirements: After hours coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays (on-call)
- Required Certifications: ACLS
- Years of Experience Required: More than 2 years
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
- Float Requirements: No
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 2 Coronary Suites and 1 Electrophysiology Suite
- Patient Ratios: 1:3-4
- Equipment Used: Philips Allura, Axurion, Phillips Xper
- EMR System: EPIC
- Type of Patients: Cardiac patients
Skills and Experience
- Must Have: Strong Cath Lab skills
- Preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) training, team player, self-motivated
Dress Code
- Hospital-provided scrubs required (no outside attire allowed)
Additional Information
- Directions to the lab: Enter through the Emergency Room entrance, proceed past triage desk, down the hallway to the Heart Center waiting area.
- Parking: Use the lot near the Emergency Room on the south side; employees park in the back section.
This position is ideal for experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologists seeking a travel contract with a well-equipped cardiac unit and a supportive team environment.
