Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Contract Length: 26 weeks (flexible between 13-26 weeks)
• No call hours, no weekends, no holidays

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience (higher value confirmed)
• Siemens MRI scanner experience required (Vida, Aera, Skyra, Avanto models)
• All exams are routine Neuro, body, MSK (No cardiac exams)
• Prior travel experience NOT required (first-time travelers accepted)

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA RQI acceptable but non-RQI preferred)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as applicable (check with recruiter/facility)
• State radiology license not required for MRI Techs in Ohio

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monthly checks
• Transcript/Diploma verification
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start (must be updated annually)
• Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours, must be completed on a computer using Chrome)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform job functions
• Fit mask testing within 12 months, updated annually (specific N95 masks required)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months of start, with annual symptom assessment
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31)
• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references
• Employment application including 3 years prior work history with at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care setting
• Unit-specific skills checklist updated annually
• Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint result attestation
