Job Opportunity: MICU RN Nights (Travel)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Experience Requirements

  • Ascension EKG Exam – Passing score of at least 80%, two attempts allowed
  • Ascension Skills Checklist – Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start, updated annually
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen – Completed within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • MMR – Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
  • Fit Test – Required for all travelers, preferred prior to start
  • Hepatitis B – Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Influenza Vaccine – Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
  • Positive PPD/Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire – Must provide positive IGRA or PPD results, chest x-ray within a year, and completed TB questionnaire
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) – Required within specified timeframes prior to start
  • Varicella – Proof of immunity or two doses of vaccine; no declinations accepted
  • Tdap – Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
  • Health Statement – Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually

Professional Requirements

  • Ascension Profile (Resume) – Required for submission
  • Two Professional References – Required prior to first assignment
  • Criminal Background Check – Including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others; completed within 30 days of first assignment and updated annually
  • Employment Verification – Third-party verification for past seven years, updated annually
  • Education Verification – Must be completed within 90 days of start
  • Confirmation of Assignment – Provided upon initial assignment and updates upon extension
  • Ascension EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) – Run within 90 days of start, rerun if break in service > 90 days
  • Ascension Badge Photo – Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations
