Description
Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Specialty
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Required Certifications:
- ND Medical Imaging License (must be obtained within 12 months of start date)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- RCIS or RCES highly preferred; ARRT considered
Job Description
- Prepare the Cath Lab for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Perform hemodynamic and control room duties
- Complete patient catheterization reports and analyze invasive and non-invasive tests
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures using proper sterile technique
- Conduct and monitor patient stress tests
- Practice radiation safety to protect staff and patients
- Transport patients as needed
- Report pertinent findings to physicians and recognize need for additional interventions
- Other duties as assigned to meet department needs
Shift Details
- Day shift (early or late start)
- 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
- 24-hour call every 3-4 weekends and 1-2 weekdays
Experience Requirements
- Years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging specialty: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience aligned with certification requirements
- Prior travel experience: Not required or specified
