Registered Nurse - MST (Float Pool)

Location: Trenton, New Jersey

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced MST RN to join the Float Pool team. Floating required between multiple campuses and MST units or ED Holds as needed.

Key Details

• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Specialty: MST (Medical-Surgical-Telemetry)
• Required Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent MST experience
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (no mention of prior travel experience)
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIH
• License: Must have New Jersey or Compact RN license at time of submission
• EMR System: Cerner
• Vaccination Requirement: Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Uniform: Navy Blue scrub color

Additional Information

• Any RN who calls off a scheduled shift must make up the missed shift within the same week. Overtime is not permitted for make-up shifts. If the shift cannot be made up within the same week, the assignment end date will be extended accordingly.
• Required screenings and verifications include background check, drug screen, physical exam, immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella), TB screening, and competency exams among others.

This position is ideal for MST RNs with solid recent experience looking for a float pool role with a structured schedule and specific certification and vaccination requirements.
