Job Details

• Full-time, 36 hours per week (48 hours/week considered)
• Every Other Week (EOW) schedule
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Preferred Certification: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Preferred Experience: Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience

Experience Requirements

• MMR vaccination proof or IgG titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of 1st shot prior to start)
• Influenza Vaccine (proof or declination for 2024-2025 season)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA test (TB screening) with chest x-ray if positive (per state requirements)
• Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer
• Physical/Health Statement (exam within last year)
• 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start, no THC)

• Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years)
• Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check within 30 days
• Joint Commission CORE Exam within last year
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days
• System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days
• Tdap vaccine (current, non-expired; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)

Summary

This is a long-term critical care RN assignment in Hartford, CT requiring standard critical care certifications and compliance with extensive credentialing and health requirements. Trauma experience and TNCC certification are preferred but not mandatory. Prior travel experience is not required. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek on an every-other-week schedule.
