Job Description

• Position in a Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry unit certified as a Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
• Patient population primarily neuro-related diagnoses; also serves as telemetry overflow for other patient types.
• Nurses will have the opportunity to practice skills beyond neurology.
• May be floated to other units as needed to support hospital operations.
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday shifts.
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Longer contracts may be available.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license.
• Neurology experience.
• Med/Surg and Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays.
