Job Opportunity: Cath Lab RN (Registered Nurse - Cath Lab)
Location: Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with healthcare team members.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
Required Experience
- Specialty: RN Cath Lab

- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics; minimum 80%, 2 attempts allowed).
- Ascension EKG Exam (minimum 80%, 2 attempts allowed).
- Ascension Cerner Test-Out (clinical documentation system proficiency).
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical skills, updated annually).
- Health & Immunizations:
- Influenza Vaccine or mask requirement during flu season.
- MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted).
- Varicella (2 vaccines or immunity proof; no declinations accepted).
- Tdap (valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (TB testing) with annual updates.
- Fit Test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start).
- Health Statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually.
- 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter.
- Other Requirements:
- Signed Assignment Agreement.
- Completion of onboarding education attestations and modules.
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry.
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check.
- Employment and Education Verification.
- Professional references (at least two).
- Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background).
Additional Notes
- Flu season mask requirement applies October 1 through March 31.
- Some onboarding forms and attestations are completed onsite.
- All exams and certifications must be current and meet minimum passing scores.
- Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days.
This position is suitable for experienced Cath Lab RNs who meet the credentialing and compliance requirements and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, critical care environment.
