Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Inpatient

Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin

Job Details

• Department: OT - Inpatient
• Patient Load: Approximately 120-150 patients treated per day department-wide
• Caseload per Therapist: 9 evaluations/day, 16 treatments/day
• Patient Types: Adult & pediatric ICUs, Level 2 pediatric & adult trauma center, primary stroke center, same day discharge joint program, trauma, neuro, ortho, general med surg., oncology, pediatric inpatient rehab, adult inpatient rehab, stroke specialty program
• Care Settings: Adult and pediatric acute inpatient, adult and pediatric ICUs, adult and pediatric acute inpatient rehab
• Coverage Areas: All of the above areas may need to be covered

Scheduling

• Shift: Day shift, variable
• Self-scheduling: Not allowed
• Weekend Requirements: Yes (comp days scheduled)
• Holiday Requirements: Yes

Orientation & Onboarding

• Department-specific orientation varies based on skill level
• OT professionals must complete client credentialing process (can take up to 2 months from submission to start)
• All onboarding, including WI state license, must be completed by the 2nd Monday of the month to avoid start date delays
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• If previously worked at this facility, must have a minimum 6-month gap since last assignment

Dress Code

• Any solid color, clean and professional attire

Support Staff

• Rehab Aides: 1 rehab aide scheduled
• COTA: 1 COTA scheduled

This position is ideal for OTs comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient environment with a diverse patient population across multiple acute and rehab settings.
