Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Temp)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Specialty: Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray)
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 8 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.
  • Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images as ordered by physicians.
  • Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
  • Maintain regular communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50–100 lbs multiple times daily (16 to 24 times).
  • Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain, but some heavy lifting in facilities or homes is required.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • ARRT certification (required)
  • Active Driver’s License (required)
