Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required
• 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications Required

• National Certification (NBSTSA and/or NCCT) preferred
• ARRT or RCIS preferred
• ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., NIH Stroke Certification for Interventional Radiology)

Work Details

• Shift: To be discussed during interview
• Weekend requirement: To be discussed during interview
• Floating: Yes, clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within 20 miles
• Block scheduling: May be accommodated but not guaranteed
• Locals accepted at same rate
• Pending license not accepted
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts, 30 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call requirement: Based on unit needs, discussed with Nurse Manager

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprinting required prior to start (no starts with fingerprints pending)
• Proof of I9, E-Verify, and government-issued photo ID required
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Required vaccinations or titers: Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel plus nicotine within 1 year
• Seasonal flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• COVID vaccination series or approved exemption required
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• State license primary source verification within 30 days of start
• National certification verification within 30 days of start
• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)
