Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Russellville, Arkansas
Facility Type: 170-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital with multiple specialty services including lab, radiology, respiratory, ED, cardiology, ENT, lung care, gastro, general surgery, inpatient rehab, and more.
Setting: Inpatient Med Surg TELE unit
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Telemetry (Med Surg TELE)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Patient Ratios: 6-7 patients per nurse on med surg floors
• Float Requirements: Must float to all med/surg floors
• Call Requirements: Occasional call, no more than once per month, typically low impact on travel staff
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend minimum (EOW), possibly less

Requirements

• Licensure: Current state Registered Nurse license required
• Certifications: CPR (BLS) required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience in Med Surg TELE (1-2+ years stated, defaulting to higher)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Other: Must be greater than 60 miles from facility to qualify as travel
