Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years recent ER experience (higher value between 1 and 2 years)
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an ED with annual visits around 28,000 or higher
• Trauma level III or higher experience preferred
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
• Must hold a Minnesota state RN license at time of submission

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan with outcome criteria, intervene, evaluate, and document patient responses
• Perform dependent, interdependent, and independent nursing functions
• Use equipment such as EPIC and Accudose (training provided during orientation)

Work Schedule & Environment

• 12-hour shifts, rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• Work every other to every third weekend and holidays
• No call requirement
• Never work alone
• Floating to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed

Unit Details

• 15-bed Emergency Department with 4 fast track rooms and 1 triage area
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Additional Notes

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• If previously employed by this health system, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
