Description
Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist
Location: Peoria, Illinois
Specialty: SFMC - MRI - CFH
Contract Length
- 20 weeks (interpreted from contract_length value)
Required Qualifications
- Certification: ARRT or ARMRIT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (highest required years of experience)
- Experience with GE MRI equipment (1.5T Artist)
- Ability to start IVs
Work Details
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements
- Orientation: 12 hours of department-specific orientation (non-billable)
- EMR/PACS systems used: Epic and McKesson
- Scrub color: Any (scrubs not provided)
- No floating or covering other areas required
- Tech assistants available (no Registered Radiology Assistants)
Additional Notes
- Drug-free workplace; negative drug screen required
- Local rate adjustments apply for clinicians living within 50 miles
- Call off policy: Equivalent of 12 hours off every 13 weeks without penalty
