Job Description

• Perform all responsibilities and duties specific to the Emergency Department nursing scope of service.
• Implement procedures and theories related to ED nursing practice.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care to ensure effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate plans of care based on patient and family needs.
• Implement and modify plans of care and nursing interventions based on continuous patient evaluation.
• Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards and incidents.
• Communicate effectively and confidentially with colleagues, patients, and families to resolve issues and promote a healing environment.
• Provide constructive feedback to peers to support professional development and knowledge expansion.
• Identify personal learning needs and take initiative to address them.
• Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
