Description
Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist (Temp)
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist in breast biopsy procedures including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms.
- Instruct and position patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs.
- Ensure work area meets safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness standards.
- Manually enter data to prepare for dictation and billing.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
- Attendance policy: 1 unscheduled absence and 2 tardies allowed during the 13-week contract; exceeding this will result in immediate contract termination.
Requirements
- Specialty: Mammography
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Mammography experience required
- Certifications: ARRT (M) Certification required
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
