Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Room (Travel)
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Midshift: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM
- 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable
- Holidays required
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- PALS (AHA) certification
- TNCC certification (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Certification (updated per schedule)
- Ascension Color Vision test (updated every 3 years)
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics; updated every 3 years)
- Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training; 8-hour course, updated every 2 years)
- Ascension EKG Exam (passing score required, updated every 3 years)
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
- Ascension Nova StatStrip training
- Ascension Cerner Test-Out
- Valid Driver’s License/State ID (must match address requirements)

- Two professional references required prior to first assignment
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry (updated annually)
- Employment verification for past 7 years (updated annually)
- Education verification within 90 days prior to start
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical, updated annually)
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment document required upon initial assignment and updates
- Ascension Badge Photo (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
