Description
Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Room (Travel)
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Midshift: 3 PM - 3 AM
- 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable
- Holidays required
Required Qualifications
- License: Current RN license in Florida with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIH Certification
- Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training, 8-hour course)
- Other Requirements:
- Up-to-date vaccination and health documentation including:
- MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer, no declinations)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations)
- Tdap (valid within 10 years, no declinations)
- TB screening (Positive IGRA or PPD with negative chest X-ray and annual questionnaire)
- Fit Test (annual)
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.) completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years
- Ascension EKG Exam (passing score of at least 80%, updated every 3 years)
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical specialty, completed within one year of start, updated annually)
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
- Criminal background checks, EPLS, employment and education verifications as required by Ascension policies
- Driver’s License/State ID (valid, matching address requirements)
- Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements and related professional attestations
