Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Week 1: Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Week 2: Wednesday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• License: Must hold a valid MRI Technologist license/certification (ARRT certification required).
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association preferred; Red Cross accepted in some cases)
  • ARRT Certification
• Health & Immunizations:

  • N95 Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions).
  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity.
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions.
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if >6 month break.
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred.
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred.
  • If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray required.
• Background Checks & Verifications:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date.
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date.
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date and annually.
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date and annually.
  • Social Security Number trace and education verification required.
• Documentation:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above).
  • Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission.
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required.
