Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), Monday-Friday (36 hours/week)
- On-call: Yes, 5-8 calls per month including weekends
- Holiday Requirements: Holiday call may be required
- Float: May be required to float to like units
- Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty
- First-timers: Not preferred
- Procedures: Must be able to scrub and circulate complex open and endovascular cases including FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, Open AAA, Thrombectomy, AV fistulas, carotid, amputations, and more
Required Qualifications
- License: South Carolina RN license or Multi-state RN license must be active and in hand at the start of the contract
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA only)
- ACLS (AHA only)
- Radiation badge (required; to be provided by agency)
- Additional Requirements:
- Must have a radiation badge before starting clinical work (may take 5-7 days to process)
- Fit test for N95 mask within 90 days prior to start, renewed annually
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Background checks including 7 years of history, criminal, and state-specific searches
- Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start
- Immunizations and health documents including Tdap, TB test, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu vaccine or exemption, and COVID vaccination records or declination form
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Color blindness test prior to start
- Education verification and diploma/transcripts preferred
- Employment history verification for last 3 clinical employers
