Job Description
- Night shift ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting.
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid RN license for the state of Kansas.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU nursing (based on specialty RN MICU).
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.
Required Credentials and Compliance
- COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or completed declination.
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza (or declination where allowed).
- Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite).
- Tuberculosis (TB) test within one year of start date.
- Tdap vaccination (no declinations accepted in some locations).
- Physical/Health statement completed annually, must state clear to work.
- Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC (special requirements for California locations).
- National criminal background check within one year of start date (with some state-specific exceptions).
- Professional identification: Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport.
- Completion of required competency exams and skills checklists with a minimum score of 80%.
- Completion of workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP).
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9).
- Prime-specific professional attestations and background checks as required.
Additional Information
- Resume must be up to date and reflect recent work history at time of offer acceptance.
- Two professional references required, including one from a manager or direct supervisor.
- Notarized name affidavit required if there are discrepancies between credentials.
This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs seeking a night shift role in a critical care environment with a 12-week contract commitment.
