Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Auburn, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• PM shift (14:30-23:00 or 14:45-23:15)
• Work every other weekend
• Possible on-call requirement

Required Skills & Experience

• CT and X-ray skillset preferred
• Must hold a valid California CRT (ARRT) license
• BLS certification required

Required Qualifications

• California CRT (ARRT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, FACIS Level 3, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List, and others as applicable
• Education verification (highest level achieved)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (annual renewal required)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (11/1-4/30)
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
• Competency exams as applicable (medication test, dysrhythmia/EKG, etc.)
• Unit-specific skills checklist, renewed annually
• Employment application with full 7 years of work history, no gaps
• Work history verification up to 7 years

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility-specific documents including job description review, standards of business conduct, vendor training, code of conduct, TB questionnaire, and others prior to start
• Background check and credentialing documents must be current and compliant
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

Summary

This is a travel contract position for a CT Tech with a focus on radiology/cardiology in Auburn, CA. The role requires a California CRT license, BLS certification, and experience with CT and X-ray. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks with PM shifts and every other weekend work. Comprehensive background checks, health screenings, immunizations, and competency verifications are mandatory. Prior travel experience is not required.
