Job Description
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and the ability to plan and deliver safe care. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience and supervise assigned personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years (highest requirement applied)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Experience:
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
- Knowledge of central lines required
- Preferred wound care experience
- Licensure:
- North Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
