Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Laurinburg, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts
• Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse

Required Qualifications

• License: North Carolina State RN license or compact RN license
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience preferred
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Preferred Certification: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

Additional Requirements

• Must include all planned time off at time of submission
• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule (locals accepted)

Compliance & Documentation

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Education verification or diploma/transcript for highest degree obtained
• Drug screening (9 panel) within one year of start
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Immunizations and titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• NURSYS verification for RN license
• Medication and competency exams as applicable, updated annually
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety acknowledgements

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the system over 1 year.

This position is ideal for experienced ER RNs with required certifications and licensure who are comfortable working night shifts and meeting travel contract requirements.
