Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - General (Days)

Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Participate in a full spectrum of surgical procedures including general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving operations.
  • Work within a health system known for pioneering surgical techniques and tools, focused on enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of Certified Surgical Tech (CST) experience.
  • Michigan state license verification required for nurses (not applicable for CST).
  • Skills checklist completed within one year of application is preferred but not required for CST.
  • Physical copies of certifications only required if specifically listed.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endo-Vascular, Urgent Care, or Obstetrics is preferred.

Additional Information

  • Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
  • Full-time employees of the health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
  • No references required.
  • Local traveler policy applies (travel rate reduced by 10% if permanent address is within 35 miles of facility).
