Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Job Description

• Work in a 36-bed Renal Unit caring for patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute or chronic kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6.
• Specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis care.
• Collaborate closely with community nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
• Work schedule options: 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Holiday shifts as required.
• Every other weekend required.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• License: Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temporary Licenses accepted).
• Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification.
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred; will consider 18 months under highest professional license.
  • Must have 1 year of recent experience in the specialty (Med Surg Telemetry / Renal).
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.
