Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other week (EOW)

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; will consider Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with acute care experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license for Massachusetts
  • Must have completed specialty exam within the last year
  • Fit test required
  • Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work, dated within the last year
  • Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
  • Immunizations and health requirements:
    • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption/declination
    • MMR vaccination or immunity proof
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption/declination
    • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test
    • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
    • Tdap vaccine (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
