Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: Mountain View, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position requires floating to a secondary location in Santa Clara, CA.
• Shifts: Tuesday-Saturday or Monday-Friday, 5/8s, variable shifts between 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM, with a day shift on Saturday.
• Every other weekend required.
• Possible days off include Sunday/Monday or Friday/Sunday.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammography Tech)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in specialty.
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications required:

  • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • RHM (Registered in Mammography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• Must have a valid California state license for Mammography Tech.

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start, including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender search, education verification, and FACIS Level 3 screening.
• Annual updates required for EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and FACIS screenings.
• Education verification required unless highest education is high school.
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana due to CA law).
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test required within 1 year of start and annually thereafter (with accommodations for religious exemptions or facial hair).
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days of start, renewed annually
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
• Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start and annually.

• Must complete and sign facility-specific documents prior to start, including:

  • Job description acknowledgment

  • Regulatory orientation
  • HIPAA acknowledgment
  • Abuse policy
  • Computer security agreement
  • Dress code and other facility policies
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
• Verification of up to 7 years of employment history required.
• Two professional references required (clinical positions).

Notes

• Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Floating between Mountain View and Santa Clara locations is required.
• Candidate must be flexible with variable shifts and weekend coverage.
