    Description

    Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

    Location: Palo Alto, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Must be willing to work weekends, weekdays, and some evening shifts.
    • Possible shift times include 7 AM - 3 PM on weekends and variable 7 AM - 5 PM on weekdays.
    • Overtime may be available.

    Required Qualifications

    • Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification.
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC).
    • ARRT certification in mammography is preferred but not mandatory.

    Experience

    • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammography Tech)
    • Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with CRT and mammography tech roles.
    • No explicit prior travel experience required.

    Certifications & Licenses

    • CRT certification.
    • BLS certification (AHA or ARC).

    • EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, FACIS Level 3, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List, and Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List checks required and updated annually or monthly as applicable.
    • Education verification required (highest level achieved).
    • Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana due to CA law).
    • Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
    • Fit mask test required within 1 year of start and annually thereafter.
    • TB screening: Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days of start, renewed annually.
    • Immunizations required: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal flu vaccination during flu season. Medical contraindications considered only for immunizations.
    • Drug testing and immunization documentation must be current and compliant.
