Location: Clyde, North Carolina

Position Details

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Occasionally float to PCU
Patient Population: Adult
Unit Profile:
- ICU with 12 beds
- Patient ratio 2:1
- Common diagnoses: Sepsis, COPD Exacerbation, Hypotension urgency, Hypertension urgency
- EHR system: Paragon

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Certification
Education: Associate’s degree required
Experience: 1-2 years ICU experience (use higher value when discrepancy exists)

Additional Information

Orientation is bi-weekly
Rotating weekend shifts
Dress code: Navy scrubs; no excessive piercings or unnatural hair colors

Notes for Candidates

ICU experience is a must
No call requirements
Occasionally floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Patient care involves critical conditions such as sepsis and respiratory/cardiac urgencies
