Job Description
- Position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Nights
Required Qualifications
Licensure
- Valid RN license in Ohio (must provide online verification dated within 30 days of start)
Certifications
- BLS (American Heart Association) – current certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required for RNs in Birth Center
- Specialty-specific competency testing – must be completed within the past year
Experience

- Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
- Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
- Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (including methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates); no THC allowed
- Fit Test: Required (specific mask requirements for Iowa)
- Color Vision: Required

- Background Checks: Federal, nationwide, county criminal checks from last 7 years; SSN verification; must be dated within 30 days of start
