Job Description

• Position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Nights

Required Qualifications

Licensure

• Valid RN license in Ohio (must provide online verification dated within 30 days of start)

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association) – current certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required for RNs in Birth Center
• Specialty-specific competency testing – must be completed within the past year

Experience

• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
• Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (including methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates); no THC allowed
• Fit Test: Required (specific mask requirements for Iowa)
• Color Vision: Required

• Background Checks: Federal, nationwide, county criminal checks from last 7 years; SSN verification; must be dated within 30 days of start
