Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER (Travel/Contract)
Location: Duncan, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Position Details
- Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse
- Shift: Mid shift (12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.) with some 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. rotation support as applicable
- Patient Ratios: 1:2-3
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes, floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Open to accommodating block schedules
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending License Accepted: No
- Return to Office Restrictions: None
Experience & Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty (ER)
- First-time Travelers: Not accepted (prior travel experience required)
- Prior Travel Experience: Required (not first-timers)
Certifications Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CPI (or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) accepted in lieu of CPI; MAB must be updated every 2 years)
Licensure & Verification
- Valid state nursing license (Primary Source Verification required)
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- Residency Declaration Form required if working on a compact license
Background & Compliance Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
- Education verification (highest degree) as requested
- Drug Testing: Negative 9 or 12 panel drug screen within 30 days of start (12 panel required for this facility)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within last 12 months (not required annually)
- Fit mask test (N95) within last year, updated annually; CAPR option available but not preferred
- TDAP vaccine or declination (must be within 10 years of start)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters or declinations accepted with preference for boosters
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox; boosters or declinations accepted with preference for boosters
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season (10/01 - 03/31); documentation mandatory for clearance
Competencies & Testing
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Color Blind Testing required for all clinical candidates
- Core competency testing or signed HIPAA form required for subcontractors
References & History
- Two professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
- Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the agency over 1 year
- Skills checklist must be updated annually
