Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Position Overview

• Specialty: Physical Therapy (PT)
• Setting: 80% Outpatient, 20% Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Facility Type: 100-bed acute care hospital, Joint Commission accredited
• Patient Population: Predominantly adult outpatient orthopedic patients
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments:

  • Joint replacements
  • Back, neck, and shoulder pain
• Patient Ratios: Strictly 1:1
• Shift: Day shift
• Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• Call Requirements: Weekends (1:4)
• Equipment: Standard rehabilitation equipment

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with general medical inpatients and joint surgeries
• Outgoing personality fit

Additional Information

• No float requirements
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color acceptable
• Patient focus on outpatient orthopedic conditions with some inpatient exposure
