Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Laguna Hills, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Radiology Technologist (Cath Lab Tech)
Shift: 4x10 hour days (07:00 - 17:30)
On Call: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend in rotation
Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
Procedures: Interventional Radiology & Invasive Cardiology Procedures
Facility accepts first-time travelers

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Experience working with adult and geriatric patients
Experience in an acute care setting
Proficient in bedside/portable procedures
Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
Knowledge and practice of radiation safety

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
