Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota State RN license
• Active ACLS (AHA) certification
• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience

Job Details

• 12-hour shifts, primarily nights with some days
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Must be willing to float to other units including Telemetry and ER/Observatory
• Nurse to patient ratio:

  • ICU: 1:2 or 1:3
  • Telemetry: 1:3 to 1:5
  • ER: 1:3 to 1:5
• Unit size: 14 beds
• Respond to code blue calls, manage arterial lines, ventilators, BiPAP, and cardiac monitoring
• Equipment used: EPIC electronic medical records system, Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Orientation: 12 to 24 hours per unit, adjusted as needed
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
