Description

Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: San Diego, California
Facility Setting: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Number of Positions: 1
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Facility Size: 70 beds (currently 55 filled)
EMR System: Protouch
Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
Parking: Front and back of the hospital building

Job Description

Position is a contractor replacement.
No floating to other units required.
Preferred candidate is seasoned in acute care, preferably with LTACH experience.

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
Minimum of 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
Experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) setting

Additional Notes

This is a travel assignment.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
