Job Opportunity: Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech) will work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with a focus on heart cases. The role involves coordinating all supplies and instrumentation needed for surgical procedures, assisting the RN with patient care planning, interventions, and outcomes, and managing the disposition and decontamination of instruments/supplies in the surgical center.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Weekend Hours: None
• Call Requirements: As needed
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with surgical technologist experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma and some college education
