Job Opportunity: RN - IV Therapy (Travel)

Job Description

• Provide outpatient infusion of oncology and medical infusion medications
• Role: Infusion Nurse specializing in Outpatient IV Therapy
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• No weekend or call requirements
• Number of Openings: 3 traveler positions

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of infusion experience, including infusion experience within the last year
• RN - IV Therapy experience
• ONS Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider Certification
• Peripheral IV skills
• Central line care
• Medication administration
• Blood transfusions

Unit Information

• 21 infusion chairs with an average daily census of 46 patients
• Patient ratios range from 1:7 to 1:9 depending on treatment acuity and length
• Equipment used: IV pumps
• Electronic Medical Record system: Epic
• Patient type: Outpatients receiving infusion therapies

Dress Code

• Any scrubs except hospital-issued scrubs
