Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Schedule: Saturday - Monday block schedule (Days)
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Description

  • Prepare patients for CT examinations and position patients according to physician’s orders.
  • Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories.
  • Produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians and radiologists.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, technical factors, basic computer skills, and PACS.
  • Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques required.
  • Provide patient care and safety for all patient populations.
  • Work independently during scheduled shifts performing CT and X-ray.

Required Qualifications

  • Specialty: CT Technologist
  • Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with CT technologist roles (typically 1+ years).
  • License: Valid CT Technologist license or certification as required by Iowa state regulations.

    • Background check, including adult and child abuse registry checks, EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG, and other required screenings within 30 days of start.
    • Professional references (2 required, including 1 supervisor reference).
    • OSHA questionnaire completed by candidate.
    • Influenza vaccine or facility declination (due annually by December 1).
