Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)
Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Prepare patients for CT examinations and position them according to physician’s orders.
- Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories.
- Produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians and radiologists.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, technical factors, basic computer skills, and PACS.
- Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques required.
- Work schedule: Variable 8-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Expected work week is 32 hours.
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid CT Technologist license as required by Iowa state regulations.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC acceptable).
- Experience:
- Minimum years of experience in CT Technologist specialty: Not explicitly stated (assume standard industry requirement; confirm with recruiter).
- Additional Requirements:
- Primary source verification of professional license and certifications within 30 days of start.
- Education verification through third party.
- Drug screen (9-panel) within 30 days of start.

- Professional references (2 required, including 1 supervisor).
- OSHA questionnaire completion.
- Influenza vaccine or facility declination accepted (seasonal requirement Sept 1 – March 31).
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts (variable start times between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM).
- Expected 32 hours per week.
