Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
Call Requirements: None

Patient Population

Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, pediatrics

Unit Details

Beds: 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Antepartum, 10 Postpartum/Gyn/Peds
Patient Ratios: Based on acuity
Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue
Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech

Required Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse License valid in North Carolina
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
STABLE certification
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN
Experience in charge nurse roles
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

Position requires ability to float within unit

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
