Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel


Facility Setting

  • Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
  • 72 beds
  • No floating to other units required

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Approximately 32 hours per week

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy (OT) specialty
  • Preferred experience level: Acute care hospital

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System

  • Protouch

Additional Information

  • Reason for opening: Replacement of permanent staff
  • Dress code: Gray scrubs
  • Free parking available

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
  • Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year

Additionally, dealing with Host Healthcare has been a seamless experience from compliance and onboarding.

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
