Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (Travel)

Location: Westerville, Ohio

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment. This role requires providing direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting.


Required Qualifications

  • License: Valid RN license for Ohio (or applicable state license verification required within 30 days of start)
  • Specialty Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard RN Labor and Delivery experience required (recommend at least 1-2 years in specialty)
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (American Heart Association) – current and valid
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required for Birth Center RNs
  • Health Requirements:
    • COVID-19 vaccine with booster proof (or approved exemption/declination where allowed)
    • MMR vaccination or immunity proof
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, with proof or exemption)
    • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
    • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening
    • Fit Test for respiratory protection
    • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
  • Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
  • Background Checks and Verifications:
    • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county, last 7 years)
    • Education verification (highest level of academic education)
    • EPLS, OIG/GSA exclusions, NSO checks (all within 30 days of start)
  • Professional Requirements:
    • Resume and skills checklist within the last year
    • 2 professional references
    • Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, integrity and audit services forms
    • Trinity system access form completed one week before start
  • Testing and Competency:
    • Trinity Joint Commission Testing (CORE exam) within the last year
    • Specialty-specific competency testing within the last year
    • Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
