Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Job Description

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
• Shift times vary between 7:00-8:00 AM start and 3:30-4:30 PM end.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technician license for Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine (valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • Tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA with chest X-ray if positive)
• Fit test for respiratory protection (updated annually).
• Drug screening: 12 panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Verification of education and employment history relevant to clinical work.
• Completion of Ascension Core Competencies and Skills Checklist within one year of start, updated annually.
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Valid driver's license or state ID (must meet state and compact license requirements).
