Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
- Shift times vary between 7:00-8:00 AM start and 3:30-4:30 PM end.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technician license for Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
- Completion of required health screenings and immunizations including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap vaccine (valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
- Tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA with chest X-ray if positive)
- Fit test for respiratory protection (updated annually).
- Drug screening: 12 panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Verification of education and employment history relevant to clinical work.
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies and Skills Checklist within one year of start, updated annually.
- Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
- Valid driver's license or state ID (must meet state and compact license requirements).
